Meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Vietnam Vahram Kazhoyan and the Minister of National Defense of Vietnam, a Member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Army General No Ng Xuân Lich

Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Vietnam Vahram Kazhoyan had a meeting with the Minister of National Defense of Vietnam, a Member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Army General No Ng Xuân Lich at the Ministry of Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on February 10, 2020.

Welcoming the Ambassador, the Minister of Defense wished him success during his tenure in Vietnam.

Ambassador Kazhoyan thanked the Minister for the reception, and presented the scope of the Embassy's work, as well as the Armenian-Vietnamese cooperation during the last decades.

Emphasizing the existing high-level political cooperation between the two countries, the Ambassador also touched upon the issues referring to the development of cooperation in the military and defense, as well as trade, economic and cultural spheres.

An agreement was reached during the meeting to study the possibilities of cooperation between the ministries of defense of the two countries, signing a memorandum of understanding during a future meeting between the parties.

A number of high-ranking representatives of the Ministry of National Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam participated in the meeting.
